We live in a world of science and technology. Where the usage of mobilephones has become a necessity. Imagining our life without such great and useful invention is next to impossible. But everything comes with its own sets of advantages and disadvantages. The devastating health effects they have cannot be ignored, the most apparent ones being weak eye-sight and obesity especially among children.
Outdoor play and physical activities are on the verge of becoming things of the past. All this has raised serious matters of concern. Soon, we all are likely to become liabilities rather than turning into assets, reason being the total dependence on computers and mobile phones.
According to me, reducing their usage is the need of the hour for the betterment of us, humans. For achieving this, we need to prioritise our needs and set some limits on their use. We should go mobile-free during meals so as to enjoy our time with family and friends to the fullest.
We must also engage in physical activities and spend our time focusing on our goals and being productive and creative. Last but not least, we should not become too dependent on these technologies and should gather information from books, newspapers, TV and from people around us . Our own well-being is in our hands and it is us who have to realise the need for limited usage of computers and mobile phones in order to prosper physically, mentally and socially.
