There are three books in this series the first one being The 7 Secrets of Vishnu, the second one is the ‘7 Secrets of Goddess’ and the third one is The 7 Secrets of Shiva.
I recently completed reading the book the ‘7 Secrets of Vishnu’ and liked this book very much because this mythological book explains about the living traditions of Hinduism and about Lord Vishnu in detail who engages this world.
The book explains the art, rituals, stories that are relevant to modern times. The stories about Matysa, Kurma, Ram, Mohini and much more explains the different Avatars of Lord Vishnu.
The book has lot of illustrations which are beautiful and complete the essence of the book. The language used by the author is very simple and understandable.
• The first chapter focuses on how gender is used to explain basic concepts of Hinduism. • The second chapter discusses the difference between man and animal. • The third and fourth chapters focus on the Devas and the Asuras, both who are unhappy. • The fifth and sixthchaptersrevolves around the Ramayana and Mahabaratha. • The seventh chapter is about the wisdom. As the author mentions ‘Within infinite Truths lies the Eternal Truth’ this book gave me a complete understanding of Lord Vishnu and his acts which gave us i.e., the humans a better place to live in.
