“My mother my mother”,

 is the best. 

“Not a moment does, 

 she ever takes rest .”

Not a grain of food 

 Do I ever waste, 

All  that  she cooks 

with so much  taste. 

There ‘s a unique way 

Of  her to teach. 

And every time to the solution

She  helps  me reach. 

She tells the finest stories, 

when we go for a walk 

And so happy I am 

Every time to hear her  talk.

We  go out for Cricket 

In the bright sun, 

And when she  tosses the ball 

It’s so much fun .

Every time I make a mistake ,

She is about to scold.

 But then she wisely explain

Like, the granny age old.
