I live near Parvati area in Pune. There is a hill near Shahu college here. Every day my husband and I go for a morning walk. One day we saw a group of kids planting trees on the hill. That was an inspriration for us. We decided to contribute in the good cause. From then whenever possible we plant trees on the hill. We also take our 3 year old son who loves to water these plants.

I am writing this blog to create awareness and request each ones contribution in plantation of trees.

Global warming is increasing day by day. Hence, it has become imperative for all of us to increase plantation of plants and trees. Moreover, it is the primary responsibility of parents, teachers and schools to inculcate this habit in the young generation. Each member of family should plant atleast one tree every year so that our kids will not fce the problems like water scarcity and pollution in future.

The activity of plantation can be carried out on a larger scale by schools when they take children on field trips. They could go to a nearby hill and plant trees. This will help children learn the importance of plantation and their responsibility towards our mother nature.

Other benefits of plantation are birds will get shelter, there will be more rain and fresh air. Our next generation will not face the consequences of global warming.
