The School Legend.
Aayamma ………
‘Ayamma’ the name we find everywhere, the legend of every school. The one we can reach easily. In grey colour saree, roaming across and around the school holding broomsticks and mops is not less than an “Emperor” of the kingdom with sword.
She is the one who dance in the corridor without any music with her prop (mop) looks like Hip hop dancer.
She is the “stunt master” in our school carrying 3 to 4 boxes in one hand and trolley of chairs on other hand.
She is a “magician” who vanishes footsteps in the corridor, turns washroom to favorite room. She switches teachers’ tiredness to dashing liveliness by providing tea.
She is a “polyglot” who understand KG 's cry to seniors’ silence.
She is a nurse who brings water when someone faints. She is the one who first aids when we get hurt. She is the who stops our tears.
She is a “traffic police” who stops or asks us to divert when corridors are mopped or examination goes on or even when part of school construction is going on.
She is a “veterinarian” who treats snail, caterpillar, pigeon, butterflies and monkeys who enter to the classroom through windows.
She is VVIP of the school who beautifies and glorifies our school. So we can say as she is the legend. Our heartfelt thanks to “aayamma”.
