My life began like any other new born baby, like a flower bud about to blossom, about to unfold its petals to the world. When I first opened my eyes, I let out a cry as if to say oh God! why did you send me into this world at all? Why can’t I peacefully rest in the hands of heaven? My mom took me in her lap. I found it the safest place on earth. She was very happy. She looked at my face and said “My dear lift the blindfold that has covered your eyes. You are here because I prayed to god to give me a lovely gift and look god listened to my prayers”. That hushed my cry as well as answered my question. Like the growth of a seed I soon grew into a sapling. But I was still very curious to know what I am supposed to do in this big world, how can I explore this world.
Questioning about everything I could. I was very curious, wanted to know what life is? Are we like weeds, intermixed flowers looking for a hidden sun? I thought. My curiosity and amazement wanted me to learn as much as I could. However, I was not a bright child. I struggled with my studies initially. I almost gave up, didn’t like to go to school or interact with my friends. I found myself disassociated from the rest of world. Found myself alienated. I made some friends, but somehow couldn’t bond with them. Then one day my mom came to me, looked deeply into my eyes and asked me the reason for my sadness. I gave her a plenty of reasons. She listened to me carefully and took me in her lap. I felt peaceful within. I told her what bothered me and I was not able to do anything properly. She gave me a book to read, hugged me tightly before she left my room. After some time, I started flipping pages of the book.
I came across a story of a king who was badly defeated in a war and how a tiny spider changed his perception towards his life. I was motivated by the way a spider given a lesson of life to the king. A lesson that we should not lose hope. A lesson of motivation, courage, to work hard to achieve our goal. Initially the road to success may be rough and hard but if we try harder, we can achieve our goal. Although I had heard a number of stories like this, but at that moment this story had a magical effect on me. I realized that we should never give up in our life and keep on trying. Everyone has some magical moments in their life. I too had. Yes, it really was! I was introduced to this magical world of books by my mom. I found adventure, fun and valuable lessons in books. Magical things, magical characters and their magical world amused me a lot. Reading books gave me wisdom and wings. My books became my best friend. I was not alone now. Reading gave me a broader vision. Soon I started writing. I started writing short essays, blogs and autobiography of things around me. It gave me confidence and motivation. Initially I faced criticism from my friends, but then everyone realized and recognized my capability. My writing was appreciated. I was now more confident than before. I want to keep on learning. I have found my hidden powers, my writing. And miraculously two golden wings bloomed behind my back. My passion of writing has helped me travel in my imagination wherever I want, far above the sea and play to with the clouds.
My look for hidden sun was complete. Everyone has their own passion whether it is writing or sports. Find something you enjoy doing. Find your wings and soar above the clouds and you will reach your goal and fulfill your dream.Together we will enjoy the wonderfull world.
