India- My Country. I am Proud to be An Indian.

Its great pleasure  to share about My Indian Culture. India is known as a LAND OF CULTURE.

Culture means the way of life followed by a community that consist of customs, tradition, religious practices and the human values they cherish.

Indian culture is the art of living which teaches humanity, tolerance, empathy etc. Unity is our strength.

The most important thing that our Indian culture teaches us is to respect our parents. Our parents are our God. Their blessings is life.

Even we Indian consider our guest as ‘ATHITI DEVA BHAVA’ which means GUEST ARE GOD.

India has a very unique way of greeting. People say ‘Namaste’ means ‘ I bow to (respect) that what is good in you’ to each other. The younger ones touch the feet of the elders and takes blessings. This happens only in My India.

Festivals are integral part of Indian culture. India is a land of festivals. Every festival is celebrated with great zest and grandeur by everyone. Diwali, Ganesh festival, Pongal, Dussehra, Baisakhi, Onam, Eid and many more. India is a land of festivals

When we talk about Indian food culture it is well known all over the world for different spices and herbs. Yummy Idli Vada sambhar, delicious pav bhaji, vada pav etc you will get only in India.

Indian attire is another important part of our Indian Culture. Indian Women wear Salwar Kameez, sarees and men wear kurta pyjama, dhoti and turban too. Traditional Indian jewellery designs vary from region to region and are usually made of gold or silver, which represents Indian culture for example Maharashtrian women were Nathani (nose ring).

Different languages are spoken in India. Hindi is our national language. Sanskrit is known as the mother of all languages. There are 400 living languages and 22 official languages spoken in India.

Different dance forms includes folk and classical which can be seen only in India. Folk dance can be seen during marriages, birth of child, festival, change of seasons and harvesting of crops.

Change is the order of the day. But our Indian culture will remain same forever. Let us all be proud of our culture and cherish it ever.
