Today I am going to blog about my last year of fun in the summer holidays as I am going to a higher standard next year.

Let’s begin with the last day of the exams. The anxiousness and enthusiasm in our minds made us jump with joy as well as shake with fear. Wishing my friends luck, I went and gave my last exam wholeheartedly. The exam was pretty easy and I finished the paper well before time. Tricking the teacher by keeping my head down, I looked at my friends confirming that their paper went well enough.

As soon as the bell rang, we jumped out of our seats wishing each other 'Children’s Independence Day' aka C.I.D. After a few days, my cousins came over to spend their holidays with me as I was forced to study for the upcoming standard though the books hadn't come.

After a few days, my cousins came over to spend their holidays with me.  Amid such chirpy home, I was forced to study for the upcoming standard even though the books didn’t arrive at home from the school.

The day came when my whole body started sweating and everyone started counting on me-- Oh yes, it was my Report Day. I called up my friends asking about their condition. They were tensed and a little nervous. Even though we wrote all of our exams well a little report card day edginess was predictable.

Looking at my result, everyone showed their gratitude to me by giving me tricks and treats. Honestly, the day couldn't have got any better but guess what- it did! My friends had also got marks exceeding their expectations!

Just as the day was coming to an end, my family members got involved in their surprise party for me and my brother (he also did get good marks after all). What a lovely time we had!! (not to mention that I purposely tripped my brother over).

The following morning, there was a complete chaos of who will be watching television first. Obviously, I wasn't involved in any of it at all. Instead, I went to my room and did something that a person would find last to do in her holidays-- studies. Many of you might think I went mad but it was the last thing I could do to keep myself engaged in something.

A few days after, I was roaming around aimlessly finding work for myself when the idea struck my mind about making a timetable. First, it was difficult to follow the timetable with holidays on my mind but soon I got used to it. Later it did become a lot of fun following this timetable. One of the major things in the timetable was swimming for 2 hours a day and one hour of Youtubing. Then there was the fitness hour and the study hour also. 

Days passed by so quickly that it was shocking to say only 15 days for school to start again loading us with the different types of knowledge. But one thing I can surely say that this was the first and last best enjoyable holiday of my life. From reading the Harry Potter series to watching the Hunger Games, my summer has passed away beautifully!!!!
