If there is something that unifies the people of our nation beyond all diversities is Cricket.
Cricket is a sport which is played between two teams of eleven players each who score runs (points) by running between two sets of three small, wooden posts called wickets. There is a 30 yard circle between the grounds. Around the pitch is much larger oval of grass called the cricket ground.
I have been playing ever since I was a little boy. I use to play gully cricket. My friends and I use to play cricket whole day during vacations. My father also brought cricket kit for me after seeing my passion towards cricket. I don’t miss a single match of T20.
Cricket has given number of memorable experiences in my life. Once we had a cricket match in MY CM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL after giving 18 runs in an over I was quite happy as it was my first match. My team was happy that we will surely win the game but in last overs the game turned up and we lost the match with 2 runs. That day I learned that luck and hard work really matters.
I got inspired when I saw Sachin Tendulkar playing cricket. I still remember how he uses to hit the ball and the ball use to fly high.
The biggest surprise in my life was that when my parents took me to Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy to seek admission in his academy. To see and meet Mr. Tendulkar it was like my dream come true. I took his autograph on my bat and even I got to hear many inspiring words from him. Sir Sachin Tendulkar is my true inspiration for my passion towards cricket. Even I met other Indian players, Sir Vinod Kambli and other England legands. Sir MS Dhoni is our youth icon. After Sachin Sir I admire is Sir Ms Dhoni.
I learned a lot through this game that even we lose we need to accept that losing is a part of game.
Hardwork and dedication leads to success.
