Hello dear readers! Before we start, close your eyes & imagine that you are in a lush green field with lots of wonderful flowers. Now here’s a question for you, what is the first thing that comes in your mind??? That’s right the first thing that comes in your mind is to pluck one of the wonderful flowers present there. But have you ever wondered that
plants have feelings too???
Yes!! They do have feelings. So, I am here to talk about plants having feelings.
Let me tell you some facts:-
Plants are complex but can’t feel pain because they lack the nervous system and brain necessary for this to happen. A plant can respond to stimuli (a detectable change in the external environment ) for example by turning towards the light or closing over a fly , but that is not the same thing…………science also proved that plants have emotion.
Dear readers here’s an amazing fact:-
Stephen Hales is considered the Father of Plant Physiology for the many experiments in the 1727 book; though Julius von Sachs unified the pieces of plant physiology and put them together as a discipline. His ‘Lehrbuch der Botanik’ was the plant physiology bible of its time.
We all know that plants can’t move, hear or do anything other than standing in their place, but they can feel the touch & their emotions.
Let’s move on. Let me tell you an incident that happened with me. My family & I had gone for a picnic to the farm. I saw a sunflower. The sunflower always turns the sun if the sun is in any direction. When I had gone to my mama’s place. They had a touch me not plant. I touched it & it closed I fell that the plant was shying away. When this happened I called my mom & said “this is amazing”. My mom said “these are their feelings”.
NOW DID YOU UNDERSTAND THAT PLANTS HAVE FEELINGS TOO!!!
