Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is also called as clean India mission or clean India drive. It is a national level campaign run by the Indian government to cover all the backward towns, to make them clean. This campaign involves the construction of toilets, promoting sanitation programs in rural areas. Cleaning streets, roads and changing the infrastructure of the country to lead the country ahead. This campaign was officially launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 145th birthday birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October 2014 at Rajghat New Delhi.
The Government of India has aimed to make India clean by 2nd October 2019 (150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi) through the campaign. It is launched as a responsibility of each and every Indian citizen to make this country a swachh country or a clean country. Teachers and students of the school are joining this mission very actively with great fervor and joy.
