It’s actually true, what they say, friends are the siblings that god never gave us. Life couldn’t have been what it is without these stupid idiots that make it worth living. The world sucks, but we love it, only because of people who make it easier for us. Sure, there are many problems, everyone has their share of upps and downs, there are times when one feels low, but god has descended some hand-picked, equally damaged, wrongly manufactured, insanity personified homo sapiens for lifting us up through all these times, for showing us that life has much more to it, than the trivial things that make us go off, for making us appreciate the small things in life that actually matter. I can’t imagine my life without my friends, and perhaps no one can, after all we human beings are ‘social animals’, right? So we need monkeys with us at all times, to match our level of crazy. XD
Friends are those who make our lives better, just by being in it. They might not always be WITH us, but they are always there FOR us, through thick and thin, through everything. They always have our backs, when the world turns it’s back on us. They are the soulmates that we find for our self, that are not packaged and delivered to our home by the lords above. They are not written in the story of our life, rather we write stories with them, that will remain close to us forever. The beauty of friendship, I feel, is that though friends are those who direct you towards light and hope, even if you can’t see on the brighter side, a friend is one who’ll sit with you in the dark. They would sit with you hand in hand in times of despair and comfort you the way no one can. Even their silence is a bliss, because what matters is their presence, not physically, but just a feeling of reassurance that you aren’t alone, that there will always be a cloak of solace and warmth that surrounds you when you need it the most. We all have that friend who has a PhD in all your life problems, you name it and they have the detailed solution ready. Sometimes it amazes you as to how the maniacs who can’t at times get their home work right would be experts at solving life problems so effortlessly. They are the ones who join the bandwagon of your weirdness and craziness, with no sense of hesitation at all, no questions asked, none answered. It’s that easy and simple with friends, no explanations, just random crazy expressions to understand it all, no complaints only abuses(of course light heartedly) , no permissions only seizures, no hard feelings, only hard beatings, no pain, only gain!
We all have had sudden gushing attack of emotions, when ever something new, or should I say something spicy happens. We all can feel the burning sensation of an urge, an urge to tell it to some one, that someone being? Of course your gossip aunty, your friend! I mean it’s insanely true, that there’s no fun in having a crush, if you don’t have a friend to discuss it with. You have to discuss all the possible(and even some impossible) prospects with your friend before diving in anything. Well, that’s important, you wouldn’t want to make a fool of yourself in front of the world, your friends are already adhering to it. But jokes apart, that is what friends are for. Who needs a stress ball, if you have friends who can listen to your shit all day long! They are the ones you confide into, without thinking even once, with no doubts in your mind whatsoever. You tell them your deepest darkest tiniest thoughts and instincts, that, is how much you believe them! But if you come to think of it, your friends are actually quite dangerous, you should be scared of them, no I mean it, come on, think about it, they can tell what’s on your mind just by looking at you, to most of things that happen, they already know what your reaction’s gonna be, they can literally see through your masks, through your fake smiles, and through your soul. Sounds horrifying, doesn’t it??!! XD
But of course the fun you have with them is unmatched, and endless. Nicknaming people, having code language, conversations that only you understand, laughing about literally anything and everything, and most of the times about nothing, annoying and teasing each other, and thoroughly enjoying it, sharing every little detail about every little thing, bitching about everyone else, the chill hang outs, the sleepless nights, the eventful evenings, the long phone calls, the soulful trips, to be precise, everything. You and your friends have the special ability of talking nonsense and having that nonsense respected. You can’t possibly get tired of each other’s blabber. These little things define your friendship, shape it and transform it into the most beautiful relationship you could ever have asked for. The dynamic metamorphosis from being mere strangers to being each other’s life is just so pure and magical, that you drift away in it’s symphony. Friendship is the greatest thing that mankind could have asked for, and maintaining it’s sanctity, lies in our hands. Everything aside, friends are truly the ones who rule your heart, drive your mind, and shape your feelings, they are the angels that descended from heaven to cause havoc in your life! XD
But they account for all the fun in the pie chart of your life, for all the love you could possibly have for someone, for all those moments of togetherness, that you shall cherish life long. A friend is truly, what the heart needs all the time.
