You are a true Indian only if only you are aware of this great word “BARGAINING”. Bargaining gets u an overwhelming sense of satisfaction, a jolly wave goes through your body when u do it. And in this if u save some bucks then there’s no problem with that too. Unlucky I haven’t savoured that feeling yet.
As being in a middle class families, we know that our families are lead on ahead by our women and Indian women have the capability of blowing your head off by their intense way of saving money though they don’t really do much to save of the embarrassment that is caused during their war with the shopkeeper for the cutting down of the prices.
For women bargaining is u gotta do It, anyhow , anycase but u gotta do it. As far I have only seen my mother shopping and trust me it was such a beautiful experience with her that I don’t feel like stepping out of my house again ,it’s like she will start bargaining in the middle of the street for the stuff we are not gonna buy.
Her( all the women) techniques in the market are:
She will never repeat the shops but she has got to compulsory mention that she has been shopping her since my birth (though she hasn’t been living since that time).
Second is comparison with the prices of places that she has never visited .their logic is seller=600 the I will be starting from 200.
The third is tearing apart the sellers soul , it’s like been half an hour they are stuck over in the same conversation she isn’t ready to give up the stuff and he isn’t ready to give at the price she wants.
Last but not the least , almost raging an ww3 against the sellers .
After all this, if they don’t get it in their price trust me they are not gonna buy it. I mean like time that they wasted over there for that one stuff & doesn’t matters at all, one hell of arrogant asses. And the most funny part about it is when they show it off it to their friends they will only mention the price that the seller stated and now for what they bargained. huh!
