Aahana’s spirit

Aahana while speaking to her daughter stopped midway and was taken back to her school-assembly where students took a pledge to help respect and protect their country in all ways possible. A value sowed so deep, that grew into a beautiful flourishing patriotic tree. Reminiscing the feeling of reaching out to the Tricolour with blood soaked hands on a strange land.... A gentle tug at her finger quickly brought her to Dia’s questions. Young Dia did not understand the implications and repercussions of innocently following instructions to the T, especially of what her mother said, or rather how she said it. The patriotic currents could be felt on the skin of Aahana, sometimes she would claim that her journey to serve her nation started even before she was born.

Dia stood looking out of the window, at the fresh sprinkle of the cold snow that always reminded her of the little snowball that she carried with her everywhere she went. The last memory of her father. Aahana nonchalantly glanced at the photograph of her spouse on the mantle. The next emotion that she experienced was just plain helplessness with a mix of rage and anxiety. Her skin broke into a cold sweat and she was back to her mission.

Vivaan, the name that he went by was her classmate. The last contact she had was a strange email that had the IP Address tracing down to New York. How should she convey to him the anxiety that she was experiencing getting him back? School were the memories that made her understand the go getter he was. Her mission was to get him back. Responsibility was to bring him back to her motherland and she was sure that she would be successful in achieving her goals regardless of the location on this planet. This was her inspiration what was written on her school soft boards. The guiding inspiration was something that always stood as a beacon of light that made sure that no one was left behind.

Aahana’s Will

A time had come where she had to stand up to all the difficulties and face the world around her with courage and pure will. It was time for her to enlighten her child who was all of five to remedy the bully situation she faced in her school. She always believed that her daughter had to find her own way. The path of least resistance helped when she was a person of weak and undermined confidence. Aahana put her skills and her knowledge that she acquired and ensured that she doesn’t disappoint her mentor. The day was approaching fast. Dia was asking too many questions. And chocolates and parks did not distract her from her basic query. All she wanted was a face to put to a name of a father.

Vivaan, who stood the test of time, was going to be proved a spy and was going to go MIA forever. Ms Pearl was an instructor par excellence. The coincidence was heightened when she also was the alumni of Aahana’s school and her favourite teacher. Ms Pearl was clear about the knowledge that she had instilled in her and was clear about the training she had imparted in them. It was time to stand the test of time and prove their mettle.

The victory.

Aahana was able to track and trace her spouse on the pretext of doing a PhD, in the University. She used the resources of the university to trace her husband and prove his innocence. She quoted her teacher’s words again and again, be responsible, create positive atmosphere and don’t leave anyone behind.
