A few months ago, I ha attended a workshop wherein we were provided with some study tips. Apart from those we also got some knowledge regarding situations that we often encounter and need to overcome our anger is felt.
The person conducting the workshop asked us a simple question – WHY DO WE GET ANGRY?
Although the question seemed easy, neither I, nor the other participants had an answer to it. He told us that getting angry is quite natural, but there is a reason behind it. We often make wishes and hope them to be fulfilled. The unfulfillment of these wishes makes one angry. When a thing doesn’t happen the way we wished it to, we get frustrated. Eventually this frustration turns into strong sense of anger.
So, the answer to the question is that – We get angry if our wishes are not fulfilled.
Avoiding to make wishes can prevent our anger or frustration. If we work hard for certain things, the returns are sure to come. Yet in such cases we often wish to be successful. Although it is not wrong, it might make one completely rely on the wish or hope that he/she carries in his mind and draw themselves back from hard work.
Making wishes or carrying a sense of hope and positivity will surely work better with personal efforts and dedication.
