While I was sitting in my drawing room reading newspaper , one of my friend came and said that reading newspaper is a waste of money. I did not think so and told her the same.

For me, newspaper is a great example of the advancement in technology. It provides employment to some thousands of people. In rural area, it also help many people. It is also very cheap but very informative. It plays a vital role in the field of education, employment and advertisement. It really works for the welfare of people. It is the best informative media. It provides us with information collected from around the globe. It also helps to develop new ideas and at times guides the common man how to think and discuss issues. A newspaper acts as an important medium to control corruption and scams. Public and personal grievances are reflected time to time in the newspaper. It also plays vital role in development of Culture, Science and Art and also with technology and commerce.

You can’t ignore the importance of newspaper as it was also relevant diving the freedom struggle but is even now helping in nation building. That’s why media is called forth pillar of democracy. So, understand the importance of newspaper in our life.
