When it winter in Europe and America, it is bright and sunny in some other parts of the world. So why not take a chance and go in for a short gap experience abroad ranging from a few months to a couple of weeks? These programs are meant to give you a meaningful experience in today’s fast developing world and an opportunity to make a difference.
You will be placed in a small group of fellow volunteers pertaining to another culture. With a series of taught sessions, hands-on and observational work and weekend excursions, you will soon become a part of that culture In the process you will gain some experience, help out others and have good fun, while contributing significantly to the local community and your own personal growth.

Community development in Bolivia.
To begin with explore the country, learn about its history heritage and culture, geography, customs and society. Help in community work and environment-friendly projects like removing debris, cleaning the surroundings, garbage and sewage disposal, repairing and reconstructing community buildings, building and maintaining of parks and gardens to name a few.
Diving and Marine Conservation in Thailand
After a brief tour of the country you complete a four day NAUI Open Water course to qualify for diving. Initially, in shallow water, you will learn how to breathe, clear your mask and equalize pressure. When you have qualified you will be allowed to descend to a wondrous underwater world of tropical fish, turtles, sea urchins and corals that you probably had never even dreamt of. Observing and recording reef damage and fish populations, you will play a part in conserving South East Thailand's ecosystem. After two or three weeks, you return home with universally recognized dive qualifications, a wealth of diving experience and lastly the satisfaction that you have made a useful contribution towards preserving a marine ecosystem.
