Are you a pre-university student thinking of joining the legal profession, al aw graduate or one of those individuals wanting to gain work experience in the field of Human Rights? Well then during your gap year abroad, you will be able to gain a unique insight into the day-to-day practice of law and the very rule of law in say a West African or Chinese environment. For instance in China you could deal with property and land law, in other types of civil law, or criminal law. Say, in Ghana you could choose between a business and criminal law or work on a Human Rights project.
Beyond these options, we also offer groups of five or more the option to custom-design a placement to suit their goals and interests.
These programs can be as short as 2 weeks or as long as 12 months. In the past, we have developed programs for both high school and college groups to volunteer and travel overseas during the summer vacations.
